Fiscal Affairs Commissioner Shanice Major

The general purpose of this Department shall be to assist the SGA Treasurer in carrying out his/her duties, working with the Financial Aid Department of Northwestern State University in seeing that the SGA Scholarships are provided for during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters, and to perform any other pertinent services not mentioned herein. *Must be a voting member of SGA to serve on the Fiscal Committee.

Committees:

• Club Sports - shall serve to offer new Club Sports, to review proposed allocations of monies brought to the SGA by any club sport, and to perform any other pertinent services not mentioned herein.

• Organizational Grants - shall be to aid University approved student organizations defray costs in certain approved projects.

• Student Association Fee Review - shall review the budgets and maintain accurate records of organizations which receive Student Association Fees and perform any other pertinent services not mentioned herein.
